Actress who gave a highly emotional performance as Mel Gibson's daughter in The Patriot. Her role in Riding in Cars with Boys earned her a Young Artist Award nomination. She attended St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal school. She played a young Marilyn Monroe in the TV miniseries Blonde. Her parents are Raymond Donald Bartusiak and Helen McCole. She appeared alongside Brittany Murphy in the 2001 film Don't Say a Word.
